I used this to replace a "normal" keyboard. I like the backlit keys. It makes it easy to play games in a dark room. I am also a keyboard traditionalist...the keys are all in the "right" place. They didn't change the arrangement of the home, insert, page down, enter, escape, etc keys. I am not a fan of the grey buttons for WASD. If you can't find the WASD keys, something is wrong with you....I don't think logitech needed to highlight these for you. I have recorded a couple macros and they work well. You do have to install logitech software for the macros to record and playback.- By AR
Keyboard has a great feel to me. I'm not a fan of the "chicklet" keyboard style being of an older school I want to feel the keys in a more traditional manner. Does not have a palm rest (so get a gel one if that's what you want) but otherwise a perfectly serviceable keyboard for any purpose. - By Jim L
